Krewella – Play Hard EP

Krewella is back with their debut album, Play Hard. The album covers many genres of EDM from dubstep to progressive house to moombahton. The group lures listeners in with sensual vocals fit for pop tracks from the Yousaf sisters that are combined with bass heavy electronic beats produced by Rainman. Here’s what the Krew had to say about their album,

“Finally releasing the culmination of years of dedication and hard work, Krewella remains fiercely dedicated to one goal and one goal only— To make you wet… one song at a time.”

Ellie Goulding – High For This (Cover & Remix)

Everything Ellie Goulding releases I seem to love. However with the unique voice of the The Weeknd I thought there was no chance the two would compare. Bravo to Ellie for proving me wrong. The song was produced by Xaphoon Jones of Chiddy Bang. Enjoy..

Less than 24 hours after the cover was released, the track gets the dubstep treatment courtesy of 19 year old Patrick Reza.

Cypress Hill & Rusko – Lez Go

Cypress Hill and Rusko team up together for their second single called “Lez Go.” This track is off of their collaborative album titled Cypress x Rusko, which will be released on June 4. After the first two singles, the mixture of hip hop and dubstep is looking real good.

Mashups for your Drinks

Canada’s new sensation Adventure Club is Amazing. I’m sure you’ve all heard the remix to “Crave You,” that came out in July, and about a month ago they released another remix. This time its of Foxes, “Youth.” Louisa Rose Allen, “Foxes,” has an amazing voice, and these guys really know how to exploit it. Shout out to Hillary Cooper and Adam Hartford for the inspiration of this post.

Dj DiBella is fire. He is a Senior at URI pursuing a degree in accounting, and still manages to put out his own EP’s and new tracks somewhat frequently. Let’s support a fellow dorm roomer. These next few songs were a part of his “Hip- Hop Electro House Mashups Top 40″ production. All of his music is free off of his website, or soundcloud.

“Ficarus” (Madeon v. Adele v. J.Cole v. The Wanted) [Click to Download] This just dropped Sunday.

The Hood Internet delivers to you “What’s My Noise.” This is a mashup of Snoop Dog, Dillion Francis, and Kill the Noise. Its fire.

Last but not least is a mashup of “Call me Maybe” and “99 Problems.” Star over night, Carley Jepsen, sounds a little manly in the tune, but I think it works. Dj Scott Melker and Friendly Greg put together this little jem. They popped and screwed Jepsens voice, describing her voice as “Daughtry on LSD.” It’s pretty amusing I think you’ll like it.

Dirty Talk (RUNVS) & We Are Young (Alvin Risk)

I love the way RUNVS remixes Wynter Gordon’s “Dirty Talk” in this track. However, having never heard of RUNVS before, I tried finding more music by him. There doesn’t seem to be much out there from him, hopefully he will be releasing more bangers.

Alvin Risk just dropped the perfect electro-house remix to the well known song “We Are Young.” Although the radio might have overplayed the original version ruining it for most, I think Alvin Risk has injected some life back into this song.

Draper – Eskimo Boy & Climbing Walls

Today I have some different sounds I stumbled upon. These are two songs from UK producer Draper that came out a while ago, but are worth a listen and a download. Draper remixes Strange Talks’s, “Eskimo Boy” and “Climbing Walls,” into two very chill dubstep songs. While he completes his degree in media technology and production at Oxford University, look for Draper to release his next album in 2012.

Thanks to the The Kollection for discovering these tracks.

Wale, Gregori Klosman, DJ :Dface, and Sammy Bananas

Lots of fresh tracks today, Wale released his “Purpe Swag Freestyle.” Wale in this track raps over ASAP Rocky’s “Purple Swag.” Wale’s well known for his work ethic, so I am sure we will be seeing more releases from Wale in the near future.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I am a huge fan of electro music. Here are a few bangers I stumbled across today…

The Frenchman Gregori Klosman is blowing up in the House world. Mr. Klosman is extremely talented, and just released his remix to Kaskade and Skyler Grey’s “Room for Happiness.” This song is FIRE, play it over and over again.

Sammy Bananas remixed J. Cole’s “Workout.” Enjoy!

XV & Wiz Khalifa – Gobstopper (Figure Remix)

DJ E-V & DJ Benzi have teamed up together to make a mixtape called Reckless Wobbles, a collection of dubstep, hip-hop remixes. For their latest release, they remixed XV & Wiz Khalifa’s collab “Gobstoppers.” Enjoy.

“Boss Level” is the collision of dubstep and hip pop. XV lays down his flow over Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites.”
